Gentle, effective Bowen Therapy in Warwickshire

What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses small, rolling movements over muscles, tendons, and soft tissue. These light moves are followed by short pauses, allowing the body’s nervous system to process and begin rebalancing naturally.

Unlike massage or manipulation, Bowen does not force change — it works with your body’s own healing mechanisms to release tension, ease discomfort, and restore a sense of balance.

Because it’s so gentle, Bowen is suitable for people of all ages. Clients often seek treatment for back, neck or shoulder tension, stress-related discomfort, or recovery after illness or activity. Many describe feeling calmer, looser, and more aligned after a session.

Bowen Therapy is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. For more information please visit the Bowen Therapy Professional Association.

Hi, I'm Laura

I’m Laura — a Bowen Therapist based in Kenilworth. My approach is calm, authentic, and person-centred. I focus on the whole picture: the symptoms you may be experiencing, how you move, and how your daily life may be impacting your body.

Each session is tailored to you as an individual, with the aim of supporting long-term ease, improved mobility, and greater wellbeing.

I have almost 20 years’ experience as a registered nurse, which has given me a strong foundation in healthcare and a deep respect for compassionate, whole-person care. Alongside my professional background, I have a particular interest in the nervous system, trauma, and the body’s innate ability to restore balance when given the right support.

This led me to train in Bowen Therapy — a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body to encourage rebalancing and reconnection. I am a fully qualified Bowen Therapist, committed to ongoing CPD, and dedicated to providing a calm, supportive space where therapy can ease discomfort, improve wellbeing, and support the body and mind as a whole.

What our clients say about Laura

Emma

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Bowen treatment, but I’ve been truly amazed by the results and the positive impact it has had on my overall wellbeing.

Laura is exceptionally skilled at what she does and is also a genuinely lovely person.

Rachel

Laura treated me for my plantar fasciitis. I was sceptical to begin with but after just 2 treatments my chronic symptoms which had plagued me for 4 months disappeared. She is both professional and skilful. I went back for a back ailment and again the results have been amazing. I’m no longer a skeptic . Pain free treatment which actually works and leaves you feeling like a new woman. From a  Happy Bowen convert

Mark

I had only vaguely heard of Bowen Therapy before meeting Laura so didn't know what to expect. I suffered an injury doing DIY and hurt my shoulder. After months of pain and limited movement Laura helped to 'fix' me in 2 sessions. Laura is lovely and put me at ease within minutes of the session. I would, and have already, recommended others to see Laura.
